Cherry Tree Creek - 8:00pm, Sat 19th Nov
Arthouse, 240 Scott Street

Another Coroner's inquest opened this week into this real life local
murder-mystery, now see this story explored as a live show.

The bodies of Vicki Arnold, 27, and Julie-Anne Leahy, 26, were found by
trail bike riders at Cherry Tree Creek, near Atherton, on August 9, 1991,
two weeks after they failed to return from a 'fishing trip'.

Many years later, after four separate investigations, a Criminal Justice
Commission inquiry and a second inquest in 1999, this remains one of the
Deep North's greatest unsolved mysteries.

While a third coronial inquest takes place in Cairns, local writer and
journalist Derek Tipper will create a unique and spellbinding
documentary-theatre work that examines this iconic "murder-mystery".

As tactile as reality itself, this will be a curious real-time 'who-dunnit'.

McCoombe st)
